The Oklahoma State Cowboys kept their NCAA tournament hopes alive Tuesday night in Ames.
OSU had a resounding comfortable lead throughout the whole contest. It was one of those games that fans felt was a Cowboy win almost from the beginning. Oklahoma State came out overall with more energy than the Cyclones and had a good performance throughout. If Iowa State had more stretches of brilliance, they would have gave themselves a fighting chance, but they seemed ill-motivated.
Mitchell Solomon led the way for the Pokes with a double-double, again living up to his “MVP” status as given to him by head coach Mike Boynton.
