I know you don’t want to hear anything more about The #1 seed Warriors but I am going down a path here and I think you’ll like the ending.
So last week the Grizzlies played the Warriors at home and in case you missed it The Warriors were up by 24 points late in the third quarter and The Grizzlies came back to win. It took overtime but The Warriors melted away, once the Grizz played with Grit, The Warriors proved that they are truly a jump shooting team. Marc Gasol bullied The Warriors out of that game and Mike Conley made some amazing passes to win.
So five days later how would a BeastBrook team fare up against the Grit n’ Grind? Well, The Thunder proved that they can play bully ball with the best of them. Adams played a game-high 38 minutes and Kanter played 29. Kanter had a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
The Thunder really played tough defense with four blocks and out-rebounded The Grizz 53-39. The final minutes of the game were very important to me, I was on the edge of my seat watching the game. This Thunder team was not going to collapse I told myself, we are better than The Warriors, we can close this game out. Then Jerami Grant put too much honey on his dunks and the Grizzly Bears were unable to recover. The game was out of reach and Mr. Triple-Double got his 18th of the season. Final score Thunder 103-Grizz 95.
Also, I know Shayden would shoot me if I didn’t let everyone know that The Spanish Sharp-Shooter had 16 points, shooting 66.7% from the field and 50% from three.
